The Rotary Club of Hopkinsville will host its Day of Play at Rotary Park (151 Pardue Lane) on Sunday, Sept.

20 from 1 to 3 p.m. and will offer free hotdogs and hamburgers while supplies last in an inclusive setting for local families.

The ninth annual Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Stadium of Champions with check-in at 9 a.m. The event will feature a sand ceremony, colored beads & information on suicide prevention.

Community members will join the Pennyrile Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 26 at the Christian County Justice Center (9 a.m. start with a 10 a.m. opening) for a walk along the Hopkinsville Greenway Trail, aiming to raise $52,500 for cure research and caregiver education.
